GSM Alarm Systems

Compared to regular alarm systems using telephone line, GSM alarm systems are among the best self-monitoring alarm systems in the market today because of the wide coverage of GSM network in most countries of the world. A GSM alarm can make voice calls and send short message (SMS) to the phone numbers programmed to receive notifications in the event of any emergency.

How does GSM alarm works?
GSM alarm systems have built-in GSM communication modules and work like a mobile phone, which means it needs a SIM card and a telecommunication service provider to be able to operate.

GSM alarm system enables home owners set up to 5 phone numbers programmed into it to enable the users recieve alerts in the case of any emergency via voice calls and short message (SMS), and allows homeowners control their home security from anywhere and anytime via a mobile phone, delivering ease of use and reliability.

It allow people to operate and setup alarm under few minutes. Additionally, the alarm system allows you to listen in into your home remotely via your mobile phone.

Wireless technology

Today, most GSM alarm systems adopts wireless technology and saves money and time on system installation as they can be installed within a short time. NO wires, no eletrical leads, no circuit testing.

Some of the alarms in the market come with LCD display and touch keypad for easy and fast installation and setup. They also have up to 0-100 wireless zones and support up to 116 units wireless sensors. (including intrusion sensors, fire sensors, panic buttons).

In addition, they can work with more than 8 units extra keyfobs or keypad for Arming/Disarming the alarm system. With wireless technology, user can easily  add and delete any wireless sensors and accessories from alarm system via keypad operation.

The alarm system can work with various intrusion sensors such as PIR motion sensor, door sensor, smoke detectors and glass break sensors. When the system detects intrusion, the alarm system sounds the siren/strobe and sends a notification or makes a call to the numbers programmed into it immediately.

GSM alarm systems can be linked to a central monitoring station (CMS) and is compatible with Contact ID protocol, it can transmit alarm information like the Arm/Disarm status, AC power failure, Low voltage of backup battery and Period testing report to a central monitoring station.

The system can effectively deter theft, detect intrusion and break-ins.

Backup battery

GSM alarm panels have built-in rechargeable Li-ion batteries that provides  backup in the event of power failure.

Intelligent Homes

What is home control?

In simple terms, it is a systems that makes it easy to control your home appliances and to make it  possible for virtually everything in your home to work together:

Imagine that it's Tuesday after school and you get a text from your daughter: She forgot her house code-again. Just pick up your iPhone and unlock the door for her. Its that simple and convenient too.

While you're sitting in traffic on a hot day, you can turn on the A/C  as you drive home from work, yes its possible.

With home automation systems you can turn the whole house off in one touch of a mobile device like or from elegant touchscreen devices that are wall mounted or have them sit on a dock depending on your preference. With a "Good Night" scene-some lights can go completely off as the lights in the kids' room dim to 10%, isn't that awesome?

Safety and security is a priority in any home!  You receive email alerts for security-related actions, e.g. "front door left open"," the security system is triggered", "a window is opened", etc.

You can also go online to access or  to double-check if your doors were locked-and an opportunity to lock them if you need to.

Home automation technology makes it possible to assign temporary security codes for the times/days when service workers like the Gardner or house maid are at your house. you can also use CCTV surveillance cameras to keep an eye on your home, no matter where you are.
Program your lights to mimic your usual patterns to appear as if you're home, even when you're not

Monitor and manage your home's energy consumption

Get comfortable, Go Green & save
Program your shades and thermostat to automatically adjust for maximum energy efficiency based on the seasons, time of day or outside temperature

Don't forget about entertainment!

Play music from multiple formats and sources, including radio, streaming music services, your mobile phone, tablets, an external hard drive or computer, cable box like DSTV and Startimes cable box/Decoders, mp3 player, into any room  from any where in the house. Amazing!

You can turn your television into an elegant interface from which you can access and control your entire home
Access all movies in your multi-disc changer, iPod or NAS drive from one interface, and search by cover art.

Custom Made Homes And Control Systems

Home Automation

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a smooth, sophisticated, yet easy to use automated home that will delight you and impress your friends? You arrive home from work and using your phone as a remote, adjust the lighting, select the music that suits your mood, start the air conditioner and turn on the TV.
Wouldn't it be nice to live in a home where you can have perfect picture quality in every room? Or, let the kids have their own phone or the ability to select or stream their own music in each bedroom.

In the “old days,” to watch a movie on a Video Cassete Recorder, we had to turn on the television and choose an input on the TV (e.g. INPUT 1) to view the VCR player. Then the VCR player had to be turned on, the movie loaded. If we wanted to watch that movie in surround sound, we’d have to push yet another button on the receiver or amplifier.

Today we can remotely control our lights, televisions, security systems, garage doors, sprinklers, home audio systems and even our kitchen appliances from anywhere around the world via a mobile device. Home automation saves time, energy and money (on utility bills, for one). It also enhances our quality of life.

You can turn on your lights from several miles away. You can even program your thermostat to kick on the AC as you wait for your bag at carousel number 4 at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, ensuring a comfortable climate upon your return.

You'll be surprised how much safer you'll feel when you arrive home to a well lit property. Keyfob remotes and lots of smartphone Apps are available to a facilitate this safety feature.

I'm not promoting sitting on the couch all day ,but some people use their control and automation system to run simple scenes such as combining multiple commands to their TVs with instructions to dim lights in the room.

When going to bed at night, wouldn't be useful to tap the 'All Lights Off' button on your smartphone or tablet. It is no longer necessary to walk around and switch off all switches in your home one at a time. Go for a run instead if you want to stay fit and use your automation system to stay LAZY around the house.
Many smart homeowners using technology as an energy management solution have reported up to 30 percent savings on their monthly utility bills. You can keep your home running efficiently by managing your thermostat, lights and appliances via the web. It’s an easy way to conserve energy and save money.

This year, as part of your home upgrade, why not consider smart home technology? Integrating security with advanced technology, a smart home provides protection for you and your family, while giving you the ability to remotely control your home’s AC and monitor what’s going on when you’re away all from your smartphone or tablet.

Technology is supposed to make your life easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable. We make sure it does!

How Smart Lighting can benefit your home

One of the reason we have windows in our homes is to provide light. One of the first steps your architect will have taken would have involved looking at the elevation and positioning of the building to ensure it maximized the benefits of natural light…but what happens when the sun goes down?
Architects and lighting designers have long understood the power of light and its ability to define, highlight, and transform architecture. To manipulate light in such a way as to simultaneously evoke subtlety and complexity requires a serious understanding of light.
With Smart Lighting System dusk doesn’t mean your home has to lose any of the dynamic aesthetics that are provided by natural light. Automated lighting can be described like the rising or setting of the sun.
Smart Lighting Systems create automated changes in lighting levels to affect mood, emphasize architecture, illuminate art, and influence action.

What is Smart Lighting Control?
Smart lighting control is the ability to regulate the level and quality of light in a given place. It is more than turning on and off, shading and dimming. Daylight sensors can automatically adjust shades and overhead lights to maintain the perfect look throughout the day, while occupancy sensors can ensure that lights are never left on when a room is unoccupied.

Convenience

Improve the ambiance of your home for any occasion or mood, while also enjoying greater levels of comfort. At the press of a button your lights will dim, with the convenience of controlling any lighting fixture from a touch screen interface, remote control  or your smart phone from anywhere in the house.
Voice-command and motion sensors systems can control lights as well. Total control over lighting throughout your home to improve security. Automatically set lighting levels based on occupancy, time, or event. Unused lights will turn off when leaving the building and restore automatically upon return.

Energy efficiency
Current statistics reveal that dimming your light to 90% illumination can save you 10% on energy bills. We can see that lighting energy takes up a lot of energy and even 1 percent of saving on that part will matter a lot in energy efficiency.
To help reduce energy usage and cost by eliminating over-illumination and unnecessary waste, these solutions provide centralized control of all lighting within a home or commercial building, allowing easy implementation of scheduling, occupancy control, daylight harvesting and more.

Control Lights from the Car
Let your lights welcome you home. With a lighting system, you can press a button and your interior/exterior lights turn on as you arrive home. Illuminate a pathway of light from your car and into your home. Ensure lights are turned off when you leave with a single touch of a button.
