How does GSM alarm works?
GSM alarm systems have built-in GSM communication modules and work like a mobile phone, which means it needs a SIM card and a telecommunication service provider to be able to operate.

GSM alarm system enables home owners set up to 5 phone numbers programmed into it to enable the users recieve alerts in the case of any emergency via voice calls and short message (SMS), and allows homeowners control their home security from anywhere and anytime via a mobile phone, delivering ease of use and reliability.

Wireless technology

Today, most GSM alarm systems adopts wireless technology and saves money and time on system installation as they can be installed within a short time. NO wires, no eletrical leads, no circuit testing.

Some of the alarms in the market come with LCD display and touch keypad for easy and fast installation and setup. They also have up to 0-100 wireless zones and support up to 116 units wireless sensors. (including intrusion sensors, fire sensors, panic buttons).

In addition, they can work with more than 8 units extra keyfobs or keypad for Arming/Disarming the alarm system. With wireless technology, user can easily  add and delete any wireless sensors and accessories from alarm system via keypad operation.

The alarm system can work with various intrusion sensors such as PIR motion sensor, door sensor, smoke detectors and glass break sensors. When the system detects intrusion, the alarm system sounds the siren/strobe and sends a notification or makes a call to the numbers programmed into it immediately.

GSM alarm systems can be linked to a central monitoring station (CMS) and is compatible with Contact ID protocol, it can transmit alarm information like the Arm/Disarm status, AC power failure, Low voltage of backup battery and Period testing report to a central monitoring station.

The system can effectively deter theft, detect intrusion and break-ins.
